Andy Fit Tip 21 – Don’t be afraid to lift weights
Hey guys it’s Andrew from Fit College New Zealand.
Woman shouldn’t be afraid to lift weights in the gym. Unfortunately, most are afraid that they’re going to bulk up. Considering that women only have about 1/20 to 1/30 the amount testosterone levels that males have this is a false belief. Now if a female was in the gym training multiple times a day, eating 10,000 calories a day, then they might bulk up but this isn’t exactly common. Realistically, women only have a testosterone level amount which will allow for muscle growth to occur at a very very slow rate, much lower in that of a male. So if a female is in the gym she should be doing weights. It will result in a much leaner, more toned physique due to an increase metabolism and increased muscle tissue which will allow for more fat loss in the long run.
